It took blogger forever to upload this. AAAH.So the Beguiling is pretty fucking amazing for it's wide variety of genre and its super amazing collection of French comics.
You might have noticed that I haven't been updating this much, because I am a horrible person. Obviously.
Well, mostly I have been struggling with a project I'm working on, it's a 100+ page coming of age story that takes place in my favorite city in the world...... Tel Aviv. I have been trying to finish thumbnailing it and really getting discouraged. That is until some really amazing people talked it over with me, including the wonderful Maelle Doliveux (WHOSE JOURNAL COMIC YOU MUST READ NOW).
So I'm now a few page into the second draft of thumbnails and I feel like it might work out after all. I really wanted to share my progress on the Comics Race and I might be able to, soon.
IN THE MEANTIME, I still have five finished pages of comics I need to share with you. Those pages are an excerpt from another project I have been working on.... forever basically. So look forward to that. And I apologize again for being so bad at updating.
P.S: Would any of you be interested in seeing some sketchbook pages? I have been wondering whether to put these up here or not (since this is deceivingly named my Sketchblog)
P.P.S: I have FINALLY updated my flickr with some works from the spring semester/figure drawing: it's here!
It was freezing in Canada. I came in with only summer clothes and stunted from the end of the Spring semester. I had to buy some warm clothing because I literally had nothing warm to wear. I got quite a hideous cold, too.
